smell the roses

Beauty is everywhere in San Francisco. I believe Golden Gate park might behold the most. It is my absoloute favorite place to go in this city. It is a calming escape from the busyness of the streets. The scent of the eucalyptus trees covers the park, and detoxes the mind.

This afternoon was spent at the Rose Garden. Beautiful rose bushes of every variety and color cover a section in the park. Right beside this garden is a large meadow filled with redwood trees. The first time I went to this spot, I was amazed by the overwhelming beauty and sense of stillness. I took Casey there the next day, and these are the memories we made.
