When two of the greatest, funniest and most loving people you know marry each other, it calls for a major celebration. When those two people decide to get married on a lake in the woods that is three hours away, nobody blinks an eye. Because for these two people, you would go to the ends of the earth to be there as they make a life long commitment to each other. And thats what we did this last weekend. Our friends Kelly and Tyler were married at Leonard Lake Reserve surrounded by 100 people who love and adore them. it was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve been to. The location was gorgeous, every detail of the wedding from the place settings, the handmade signs, the music, to the handmade wooden candle holders, screamed their names. They are so in love with each other that you could feel the love in every detail of the wedding. They wrote their own vows which were really love letters that had every one in tears. It was such an honor to be there as they confessed their love and made an everlasting commitment to each other.

With a wedding being three hours away in the woods, the only thing to do is to rent a house for the weekend with your friends in those said woods. And that is exactly what we did.

We found the cutest cabin on the most beautiful property in Willits. We went with our good friends Josh and Alexis and their son Levi (M’s best friend). And our buddy Walter came to along be our handsome fifth wheel and excellent breakfast chef (his wife had to stay behind and work which made us all sad).

When we pulled up to the property after driving on a dirt road for 20 minutes with a thousand twists and turns, we were all amazed at how beautiful it was. I could go on and on about how amazing everything was, the creek, the fishing pond, the rope swing,  the hammock in the middle of giant oak trees, the swing set for the kids, the hot tub for the parents, and the overwhelming peacefulness and stillness there. But I won’t, I’ll just show you the many MANY pictures I took.

It was really a wonderful weekend, with amazing friends and a perfect wedding.
